Going Green For Spring

Our eight branch communities were invited to "Grow Green" to join us in celebrating the first day of spring at grocery stores throughout western North Dakota.  The vernal equinox arrived just before midnight on March 20, so Dakota West distributed nearly two thousand recyclable grocery bags to help encourage reuse of bags by "going green" on the first full day of Spring.

We are thankful to our community stores who joined us in celebrating spring's arrival, as well as supporting all of us as we stock our pantries for extended periods:

Thanks for being a part of Dakota West and for sharing your spring - and all the seasons of the year - with us!

Member Calendar - April 2020

Welcome to longer days, blades of grass and tiny leaves peeking out of their winter hideaways - the season of rebirth.  It's also prom season at schools throughout Dakota West communities, many of which we are supporting the after-prom parties to keep our teenagers safe.

It won't be long before students will be ready for summer, but looking forward, it's time now to apply for the Dakota West Annual Scholarship.  The deadline is on the April Calendar along with plenty of other community activities, school holidays, and of course tax day.  Keep an eye out for hints of spring - it's coming soon!

Member Calendar - March 2020

It’s never too early to start thinking about spring, and since it’s time to share our March Calendar, spring is practically here!

Whether attending Spring Fest in Watford City, or enjoying time off school for Spring Break, or just springing the clocks forward, hints of spring are on their way.  And speaking of hints of spring, watch for our Green Bag Day to celebrate spring in your community next month!
