In Bowman, Mary Beth Schumacher took home a wireless weather station. In Washburn, Jamie Haugtvedt will be plugging in a new mini-projector to watch movies on a big screen – her living room wall.
Mostly, we are thankful for each and every member who we served this year, whether you stopped into a branch, called us on the phone, sent us an email, or just allowed us the ability to provide you with the financial services you need. It’s Time For Our Annual Christmas Giveaway
Every year Dakota West wants to find unique ways to say, “Thank you,” to our members for being a part of our organization, and each year we hope to find a giveaway item that our members will enjoy, but may not buy for themselves.
This Christmas season, stop into your local branch and register to win our member giveaway – a gift selected by each branch to best fit the needs of our unique membership. Our registration period is already underway, and it gives us a chance to visit with each member who stops by to say, “Hello, and Merry Christmas!”
We ask that our members register just once, and perhaps you’ll also find seasonal treats, depending on what’s happening at each branch. If you’re in the mood to do a little giving as well as a little receiving, many of our branches are displaying Giving Trees, where you can help a member of your own community. We’ve even been told that Santa Claus checked in at one of our branches this week, so you never know how much Christmas spirit may be waiting for you.
Each branch will draw a winning name on Friday, December 20 at the close of the business day. Whether you want to keep the prize for yourself, or wrap it and place it under the tree for your whole family, we want to give back to the people who have made this year special for us: you!

Change is inevitable in life, but at Dakota West Credit Union, we are embracing our Core Conversion and making sure you are ready, too. Our new data storage and processing system will be up and running in a few weeks and you can join the conversation and learn more.

To encourage our members to find the latest updates, the first 20 members who email dwcu@dakotawestcu.org with the correct answers to the below questions will be rewarded with an extra $10 in their primary share account before our Core Conversion.
