Welcome to Autumn – officially – although the weather of late still feels a bit like the previous season. So what! The fall fun is underway in many of our communities, and looking at the November Calendar, it is time to start planning for your Thanksgiving meal. It’s been a year to truly give thanks for what is most important in our lives: our families, our freedoms, our health, and our traditions.
Whatever November holds for you, we are here to provide you with the guidance you need to plan for the coming holidays, to express our gratitude to our members, and to enjoy the first fall of snow together. Happy Birthday North Dakota, and Happy Thanksgiving to you!

How often do you hear a friend say that Fall is their favorite season? It’s the colors of the trees and the touch of cool air that remind us of the brilliant season yet to come. Check out our Halloween-themed Hay Bale entry in Washburn or join us as we sponsor the Feed Calf Show in Turtle Lake to get in the spirit of fall fun.
October spends its entire duration allowing us to enjoy the scents and sensations of the season, and at Dakota West, we are joining our communities in the celebrations that bring fall to its peak. Check out our October Calendar to find what’s blowing your way this autumn, leading up to the tricks and treats at the end of the month.

Autumn may be on the horizon with back-to-school plans developing and summer excursions winding down, but this is the perfect time to wish all of the Dakota West Scholarship recipients great success as they embark on their new year of learning and growing. We’re so glad to have each of you Grow West with us!
Throughout the autumn, watch for new employee profiles, important security reminders for National Cybersecurity Month, and – dare we say it – the excitement of the holiday season, whatever it may look like this year for each of us.
